High Definition is coming to every consumer now: More than half of TVs shipped worldwide in 2008 will be High Definition (HD) TVs, HD DVD and Blue-Ray DVD had good sales during 2007 Black Friday in North America, and HD content is growing in variety. According to DisplaySearch data, 42% of the 196 million TVs were shipped worldwide in 2007 were HDTVs, and HDTV shipments will continuously increase in the following years, so that by 2011, 73% of global TVs shipped will be HD with a 95% share of global TV revenues in 2011!
