He joined DisplaySearch in February of 2000 from a competing Tokyo-based market research firm, Techno Systems Research, where he served as a market analyst for nine years in positions of increasing responsibility. Mr. Tamura maintains excellent relationships with panel suppliers and key component suppliers, resulting in the publication of extremely informative and popular reports on actual TFT LCD shipments worldwide by quarter. He has been an invited speaker at multiple display conferences in Japan and Taiwan and has a Bachelors degree in International Economics from Chuo University.
